About MACPool

Mid Argyll Community Pool (MACPool) is a social enterprise, owned and operated by Mid Argyll Community Enterprises Ltd (MACEL), and is a Registered Charity. The swimming pool opened in March 1996 after many years of fundraising by the local community. Our mission is to provide accessible swimming facilities and promote water safety and fitness in the Mid Argyll community. We believe that swimming is not just a life skill, but a gateway to better health, confidence, and community connection.
